  • What is the 90-Day Report?

    The 90-Day Report is a legal requirement for foreigners staying in Thailand for more than 90 consecutive days. They must report to the Immigration Office every 90 days to confirm their stay and current address without leaving the country.

  • Who needs to do the 90-Day Report?
    • Holders of Non-Immigrant B Visa (Work Visa)
    • Holders of Non-Immigrant O Retirement Visa
    • Holders of Non-Immigrant O Marriage or Dependent Visa
    • Holders of Non-Immigrant O Child Support or Guardian Visa
    • Holders of Non-Immigrant ED Visa (Education Visa)
    • Other long-term residence permits
  • Why is the 90-Day Report important?
    • Allows Immigration to verify and update the foreigner’s current address
    • Ensures compliance with Thai laws and visa conditions
    • Prevents overstays and maintains valid residence status
    • Failure to report may lead to fines or legal consequences
  • Ways to file the 90-Day Report
    • In person – Submit TM.47 form at Immigration Office
    • By post – Send documents via registered mail at least 15 days before the due date
    • Online – Through https://tm47.immigration.go.th
    • By representative – Authorize another person with a power of attorney
  • Required documents for 90-Day Reporting
    • Completed TM.47 form
    • Original passport
    • Copy of passport information page
    • Copy of current visa
    • Copy of latest entry stamp
    • Copy of TM.6 (arrival card)
  • Penalties for late reporting
    • 2,000 THB fine if reported late in person
    • 4,000 THB fine if arrested by authorities for failing to report
  • Important notes about 90-Day Reporting
    • Report required even if your address has not changed
    • If you leave and re-enter Thailand, the count resets from the new entry date
    • Address changes must be reported within 24 hours
    • Can be filed up to 15 days in advance or within 7 days after the due date
